THE SOCIAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT:
SHINE
Counselors offer free, accurate, and confidential services
to our elders and their families.
Our shine counselors are available
Monday thru Thursday
from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm to assist you.
These volunteers are trained to assist with questions on Medicare
and health insurance options including supplemental plans, claims
processing billing, home health care, durable equipment needs and
public benefits.
Our SHINE counselors are Joyce Ciccolo and Maureen Saunders.
A telephone call to the COA at 834-5581 will set
up an appointment for these SHINE services.
We
welcome our new volunteer Shine counselor
Nancy Lester. Nancy is a trained and certified Shine Counselor
who will be available for shine appointments as needed.
