Volunteer Information Corner Thank you to all of you who helped us brave the long winter with all your enthusiasm and hard work. Where can you go and have all this fun and food. We deeply appreciate all you do. Those of you getting back from your winter retreats give us a call and let us know so you can get back into the swing of things. We hope you had a great winter. Don’t forget to use your swipe cards when you work inside the Center. If you don’t have one, stop at the front desk and ask for one. Also, submit any hours that you work on the outside such as a Shopper, Friendly Visitor, or on the Grounds. If you are a Shopper or Friendly Visitor, please fill out our special monthly forms obtained at the front office. It is important that all Medical and Meals on Wheels Drivers remember to drop off your mileage reimbursement sheets on the first of every month. We need to get the mileage information over to Old Colony as soon as possible. Please wear name badges inside the Center. Thank you for being patient with our Photo ID Project that we have started for those of you that work on the outside of the Center such as medical Drivers, Meals on Wheels Drivers, Shoppers, Friendly Visitors, Bus Drivers, Bus Escorts, etc. During the past few weeks, we have been calling those of you in these categories to get your pictures taken. If you haven’t received the neck cord that attaches to these badges, come to my office at the Center and pick one up. It is important that you wear these photo badges while you are working outside in the community. In the event that you resign as a volunteer from our Marshfield COA, and have one of these photo ID badges, please return it to us.
